D-Link DSL 2750B ADSL Setup Guide

This guide will assist you in setting up your ADSL2+ connection on the D-Link DSL 2750B and securing your wireless network. 

Step 1:

Connect the D-Link DSL-2750B modem to the power.

Plug the phone line into the wall socket and the modem.

Plug the network cable to your PC and the other end of the cable into your modem.

Step 2:

Power up the device, and allow 1-2 minutes for the lights to stabilise.

Open your Internet browser (E.g. Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox), once this is open, type the following into the address bar:

Username: admin
Password: admin


Step 3:

You will then be taken to the main setup page of your modem. Select the “Setup Wizard” to begin.


Step 4:

The next screen will give you a quick summary of what will be configured in the Setup wizard.

Press “Next” to continue.


Step 5:

You will then be prompted for a change in “Login Password”, this was the admin password you used earlier.

This step is optional, however if you wish to change the login password we suggest recording a copy of this password in case it is later required.


Step 6:

Next are the Time and Date settings in your modem, these settings are optional and you may press “Next” to continue.


Step 7:

The next page will contain your Internet Connection details.

Please then enter the following:

WAN Services Type: DSL
Country: Australia
Internet Service Provider: Others
Protocol: PPPoE
Connection Type: LLC
VPI: 8
VCI: 35

Next follows your Username and Password. These details have been provided in your Welcome Pack.


Step 9:

The following page will configure your Wireless Details, once entered press “Next”.

Note that your “WPA2 Key” is your Wireless Password provided in your Welcome pack.


Step 10:

The next page will show you a summary of what you have entered.

You may want to print a copy of this screen to ensure that you have a second copy of your details.

Press Apply to complete the setup of your modem.
