Update Payment Details

Scenario


  • Customer calls to update the billing method of payment
  • Customer advises CC or DD details got changed
  • Customer reports CC on file was lost or stolen

What to do


Update Payment Details - Station

Simply follow the steps below to update a payment method through Station:

Step 1:

Click View Biller from the Overview menu in Station.

Step 2:

Select New Method from the Payment Method menu.

Step 3:

You will now be directed to our New Payment Method page which will allow you to update the customer's payment details to either Credit Card or Direct Debit.

Please Note:

  • You can switch between Credit Card and Direct Debit by using the icons at the top of the form.
  • If a payment method is being set to direct debit, the Terms and Conditions must be played and agreed by the customer ( #30 ).

If you are making a manual payment and at the same time setting it as a mode of payment, simply follow the steps below through Station:

Note: This only applies if the customer is trying to make a payment using a credit card.

Step 1:

Click Invoices from the left side corner in Station.

Step 2:

Click on Manual Payment.

Step 3:

You will now be directed to enter the amount to be paid and the credit card to be used.
