Request To Restrict/Suspend

Scenario


  • Customer will be temporarily not using the service e.g. going on vacation and wants the home phone or internet temporarily suspended to avoid unwanted usage
  • Customer lost the mobile and requests to suspend or restrict the service to insure the person who found it wont be able to use the service

What to do


  1. Ask your team leader to suspend the service/s.
  2. Educate the customer that they need to call back to remove the suspension when they want to resume using the service.

Note: Customers may opt to disable the calling options via MyAccount as shown in the image below. However, this does not stop possible data usage which customer might be charged for.
