SpinTel Celebrates Wins in Finder’s 2025 Mobile and Broadband Awards

SpinTel is celebrating after taking home a suite of awards in Finder’s Mobile and Broadband Awards for 2025, including the coveted best “Budget NBN Provider” award.

Finder’s team of data scientists compared more than 230 broadband plans across 41 providers to decide its winners and highly commended providers, and SpinTel was recognised in a range of categories.

It earns its first win for Best Budget NBN Provider, after judges noted it delivers the maximum typical evening speeds available on an NBN 25 plan, coupled with one of the lowest prices in this category.

It was also recognised with Highly Commended nods in the following NBN categories:

• Everyday Use NBN Provider
• Fast Speeds NBN Provider
• Wireless Broadband Provider

Finder's Broadband Awards ranks providers based on a range of metrics including price, speed, reliability as per the ACCC’s quarterly broadband performance report, customer support, and the option to BYO modem or the price to buy one.

Second-time recognition in the Mobile Awards

Meanwhile in the Mobile Awards, SpinTel was named highly commended in Finder’s Mobile Awards for the second year in a row, this time in the Value Mobile Provider. SpinTel received a highly commended award in this category, with its range of great value mobile plans including the 25GB plan, which costs just $14 a month, less than 50 cents per gigabyte.

Winners and those highly commended for each category in Finder’s Mobile awards were chosen by a value score that ranks factors such as how much their plans cost, network coverage, WiFi calling and the option for data rollover.

This recognition shows that SpinTel's plans, which run on the Optus network, are right up there among the best for value. Customers can sign up via eSIM and there are several support options available, including live chat or a phone call, adding to the brand’s value.
