By providing a helping hand to budding entrepreneurs,
SpinTel hopes to create opportunities for students who are
passionate about making a difference in the world through
innovative and disruptive businesses.

To be eligible to enter, you must be an Australian citizen,
or permanent resident, and enrolled full-time in a
Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or Communications field.
As proof of your enrolment in a relevant field, one of the following
must be provided:
All documents MUST clearly show your name, plus the name and address of the issuing institution.
We want to hear about your passion. To be considered for the SpinTel Entrepreneur Grant, applicants must submit a written challenge response.
500 WORDS MAX
A short written essay on:
“Why you consider yourself a budding entrepreneur, and what
impact you hope to make in your field during your career?”
300 WORDS MAX
A written statement explaining why you believe you deserve to win the grant (e.g. financial assistance, strong academic transcript, achieving a business milestone, or other reason).
The level of innovative thinking and the potential of your business concept to disrupt the standard models.
How well the applicant articulates their vision and target market. Additionally, grammatical features, such as structure, syntax, and vocabulary.
Personal statements will also be considered as part of the judging criteria.

Winning the SpinTel Grant was truly a transformative experience. It allowed me to invest heavily into my education and advance my career in lots of interesting ways. I was able to travel to the Middle East to study and to better understand how communication systems operate throughout the world and can be transformed through new technologies.
SpinTel is committed to supporting the technology and business

expanding this support by offering the SpinTel Entrepreneur Grant
to encourage and assist aspiring Australian entrepreneurs.
