HT802 VoIP Configuration

1. Lift the phone and dial ***02 from the handset and take note of the IP address that will be provided via voice prompt.

2. Open a browser and type in the IP address (i.e. 192.168.1.96) or the IP address and add :88 at the end (i.e. 192.168.1.96:88)

3. On the web interface, click on BASIC SETTINGS

Basic Settings

Enter the information below:

HTTP Web Port 88

Web Port

Set Time Zone to GMT+10:00 (Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra)

Time Zone

Click Update.

4. Go to ADVANCED SETTINGS

Advance Settings

Enter the information below:

Set System Ring Cadence to c=400/200-400/2000;

Set NTP Server to 203.23.237.200

Scroll to the very bottom and then click Update and Apply.

5. Go to FXS PORT1 and enter the following information below and leave everything else as default.

Account Active: Yes

Primary SIP Server: voip.syd.spintel.net.au

Outbound Proxy: voip.syd.spintel.net.au

SIP Transport: Should be UDP, unless the modem is 4G then TCP.

NAT Traversal: Keep Alive

SIP User ID: Your sip number (XXXXXX)

Authentication ID: Your sip number (XXXXXX)

Authenticate Password: Your sip-number password

Unregister On Reboot: Yes

Register Expiration: 60

Account Active: it should be Yes.

Primary SIP Server: yyyyyy-pbx.cust.spintel.net.au (yyyyyy=customer code)

Outbound Proxy: yyyyyy-pbx.cust.spintel.net.au (yyyyyy=customer code)

SIP Transport: Should be UDP for NBN or DSL service but TCP for WBB 4G connection.

NAT Traversal: UPnP

SIP User ID: Your PBX extension (XXX)

Authentication ID: Your PBX extension (XXX)

Authenticate Password: Your PBX extension password

Unregister On Reboot: Yes

Register Expiration: 60

Preferred DTMF method: Priority 1: RFC2833 then, Priority 2: SIP INFO

Disable Call-Waiting: Yes

Disable Visual MWI: Yes

Ring Timeout: 120

Set the codec Preferred Vocoder prioritisation in the following order: Choice 1:G729, Choice 2:PCMU, Choice 3: PCMA, Choice 4: iLBC, Choice 5: G723.

Symmetric RTP: Yes

SLIC Setting: Australia/New Zealand

Caller ID Scheme: ETSI-DTMF during ringing

Disable Line Echo Canceller: Yes

Scroll to the very bottom and then click the Apply button.

Then click Reboot.

6. Click on Status and look for Port Status and the port number that you configured. It should show On Hook, the User ID and Registered.
