Before You Switch

You'll need to make sure of the following:

You must be the account holder with your current service provider.

Your number is currently active.

You have access to the current mobile number.

Check with your current provider about early termination fees.

Note: SpinTel is not liable for any fees or charges incurred by your previous service provider.

How to Transfer Your Number

Order Your Plan

Order your SIM-only plan, and receive your SpinTel SIM or eSIM.

You can view our plans here.

Activate Your Plan

Activate your mobile service using our activation form. Make sure you select ‘Transfer an active mobile number to SpinTel’.

Complete Verification

Once you have confirmed the activation, you will receive a one-time code via SMS. Enter the code and submit to begin the transfer.

What Happens Next?

Transfer Timeline

Activation form is submitted.

Your current service will drop out in the next 15 minutes – 24 hours.

Once it stops working, insert your SpinTel SIM card (or scan the eSIM).

Your number has now been switched over to SpinTel, and your current service will be disconnected.

You can manage your new account and service with My Account. You can also monitor your usage, view your bills, and much more.

Didn't Request a Number Transfer?

If you suspect that your mobile number has been fraudulently transferred, you should immediately report the activity to:

Your current mobile provider.

The Australian Federal Police or the relevant State or Territory Police.

Government services that assist individuals who have been targeted by fraud or scams.
