Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the Network Status page and the Carrier Outage Registers?

The Network Status page provides live information about current outages, planned maintenance and restoration activities that may affect SpinTel services.

The Carrier Outage Registers are historical records maintained by the network operators. They contain information about resolved Major Outages and Significant Local Outages and are published to meet regulatory requirements.

Why are these registers maintained by the carriers?

SpinTel delivers services using carrier networks, including nbn® and Optus. Those carriers are responsible for maintaining their own outage registers, while SpinTel provides customers with access to the relevant registers.

Where should I go if my service isn't working?
