Google Nest Wifi

Google Nest Wifi is the newest mesh Wi-Fi system from Google. It replaces your existing Wi-Fi router (excluding FTTN/FTTB nbn connection types) and consists of a router and point(s). Nest Wifi points expand coverage within your home and also work as Google Assistant speakers. Google Wifi points can be combined with Nest Wifi to provide more coverage.

Requirements

  • Modem and active broadband internet connection
  • Each device requires a nearby electrical outlet
  • Google Account
  • Compatible mobile device (minimum OS requirements are available at g.co/nestwifi/req)
  • Nest Wifi points require a Nest Wifi router or Google Wifi router

For FTTP, FTTC, HFC, and Fixed Wireless customers, you will need the nbn™ Connection Box and the Google Nest Wifi router.

For Fibre to the Node and Fibre to the Basement customers, you will need a vDSL compatible modem and the Google Nest Wifi router.
