Google Nest Wifi is the newest mesh Wi-Fi system from Google. It replaces your existing Wi-Fi
router (excluding FTTN/FTTB nbn connection types) and consists of a router and
point(s). Nest Wifi points expand coverage within your home and also work as Google Assistant
speakers. Google Wifi points can be combined with Nest Wifi to provide more coverage.
Requirements
Modem and active broadband internet connection
Each device requires a nearby electrical outlet
Google Account
Compatible mobile device (minimum OS requirements are available at g.co/nestwifi/req)
Nest Wifi points require a Nest Wifi router or Google Wifi router
For FTTP, FTTC, HFC, and Fixed Wireless customers, you will need the nbn™ Connection Box
and the Google Nest Wifi router.
For Fibre to the Node and Fibre to the Basement customers, you will need a vDSL compatible
modem and the Google Nest Wifi router.

Before you set up your Nest Wifi router, make sure that your modem is working and connected to
the Internet. The router is the unit with Ethernet ports on the bottom.
