Missing an important call can be frustrating, especially when you have lots of messages in your voicemail inbox. Missed Call Services are a great alternative to voicemail, allowing you to choose which messages to listen to, without even having to dial up voicemail!
Missed Call Services are a convenient and simple tool that is used when you miss a call. An alternative to traditional voicemail, the Missed Call Service prompts the caller to leave a short message (up to 1 minute), which is recorded and sent to you as a multimedia message (MMS). The MMS comes with an audio recording file of the caller’s message. The audio recording can be played from your phone. Missed Call Services are a great alternative to voicemail as you don’t have to dial up a number and go through each voicemail. Instead you can pick which voicemails you want to listen to and in which order you choose.
Voicemail sends messages to a message bank, which you can then access by dialling a specific number. The voicemails are then played from oldest to newest. Missed Call Services send each voice recording as an MMS, which allows you to access them the same way you would an SMS, and can be played in any order you choose.
Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) allows users to send and receive multimedia content from their mobile phones through a mobile network, similar to an SMS. MMS lets you send and receive files such as photos, videos, and audio files, which are necessary for Missed Call Services. MMS files (including Missed Call Services) are stored on your phone. A 1 minute message is roughly 92 kilobytes.
Missed Call Services can be used anytime you are unable to answer a call. They have you covered if you:
